Remember when I told you that I sleep in class sometimes? Well things have changed. I sleep in class a lot. Graduation is in 50 somehting days, Random Shapes is up and running, all my projects are done, and I’m getting more free time. It’s time to catch up on sleep and do my best to avoid senioritis (if it isn’t already too late).
Ideally, teens should strive for 8- 1/2 to 9-1/4 hours of sleep each night.
Yeah right. I don’t know anyone who gets that much sleep.
Some 28 percent of high-school students said they fell asleep in class at least once a week. In addition, 22 percent dozed off doing homework
Update: Here’s another article on teen sleep-deprivation posted yesterday on CNN.
