When I’m gone I’ll have basically no internet access except to send emails to my folks. I don’t want to let this place sit for 2 years so I’ve taught my dad how to use WordPress and he will be posting parts of my emails and letters. (Sorry if he messes anything up) 😉 If you really need to contact me you can send an email to my dad at cliff(dot)jones(at)avidlaw(dot)com and he’ll make sure to send the message along.
I know my blogging has been fairly sporadic but I hope you stick around.
I had planned to redesign the site before I left but I didn’t have time to slice it up and turn it into a theme so this will have to do. The current design is really simple and works so I don’t mind leaving it how it is.
On June 6th I leave. No more internet, no more design, no more blogging, no kidding.
I’ll be in Uruguay serving a mission for my church for 2 years.
I don’t know what I’ll be doing with the blog but I’ll make sure it gets updated somehow. Most of the posts will probably just be an update on how things are going for me in Uruguay. I hope you stick around.
The past year and a half have been incredible. It’s amazing how much can happen in a year. If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that real-life experiences will teach you a lot more then any schooling.
It will be tough getting used to a new country and a new language but the hardest thing will be setting aside the things I’ve worked so hard to build. My career, my relationships, and …
I don’t plan on making it to all the panels but if I have the chance these are the panels I want to go to. If you want to meet up sometime shoot me an email.
Yesterday was Random Shapes 1st birthday. It was awesome. Nothing special happened. I didn’t do much to celebrate. But it was awesome. I can’t believe it’s already been a year. Some big things have happened with the the network lately. Huge in my opinion and as always I’m really excited about how things are going.
Today I got my wisdom teeth taken out. I don’t remember most of what happened on the way home but my dad says that I kept telling him I was seeing double. It’s too bad I don’t remember it. That would’ve been cool! I haven’t swollen up too much and they have me taking vicodin so my teeth don’t hurt too much either. Overall it’s gone much better then I thought it would.
