Yesterday was Random Shapes 1st birthday. It was awesome. Nothing special happened. I didn’t do much to celebrate. But it was awesome. I can’t believe it’s already been a year. Some big things have happened with the the network lately. Huge in my opinion and as always I’m really excited about how things are going.
Today I got my wisdom teeth taken out. I don’t remember most of what happened on the way home but my dad says that I kept telling him I was seeing double. It’s too bad I don’t remember it. That would’ve been cool! I haven’t swollen up too much and they have me taking vicodin so my teeth don’t hurt too much either. Overall it’s gone much better then I thought it would.
This coming Tuesday is Refresh Phoenix. The author of “Designing the Obvious: A Common Sense Approach to Web Application Design” will be there to lead a discussion on the principles of design. It should be a good meeting. I haven’t read his book yet but I hope he brings some copies.
On Thursday I’m heading to Austin, Texas for the SXSW Interactive Festival. I’m really excited about going since I wasn’t able to make it last year. I’m hoping to meet a lot of people, have some good conversations, and get a good bowling score! If you’re going and see some kid that looks like this be sure to say hi.

After I got my wisdom teeth out on the way home i wrote on a piece of paper if that was what it felt like to be high.

and yay! happy birthday random shapes! if i had been in school yesterday I would have remembered from actually looking at a calander but there was no school because of snow…again……
