Well today has been another awesome day much like the other day. After my morning cheerios I checked on one of my favorite sites called Design Shack. “Design Shack offers regular examples of great CSS, standards based design to help inspire and create.” I couldn’t believe it. They featured my site and rated it a 3 out of 10. Not a very good rating but I’m happy just to have been accepted. I mentioned other sites similar to Design Shack before, but some other great sites that you might also want to check out are CSS Import, Unmatched Style, CSS Smooth Operator, and Screenspire. Unfortunately I haven’t been accpeted by any of them (yet) but maybe someday I will.

I was one of the 40 or so people at the Refresh Phoenix meeting last night and to briefly describe it, it was awesome! All I could do was listen and try to learn as much as I could from the wide variety of people who attended. Being in the presence of so many web development geniuses was by far the best thing I’ve ever done to expand my knowledge of this rapidly growing and constantly changing career field. There were so many interesting people there who I would love to talk with and get to know better. The meeting officially started at 7:00 and ended at 8:00 but many people, including myself, showed up early to chat and some also stayed after to talk some more.
