Too often I notice myself saying things like, “I don’t know yet” or “I haven’t done that yet.” Now I’m asking myself, “Why not?” I have so much I want to learn and even more that I have to do, why do I keep telling myself not yet? Because the web is constantly changing it is important for web professionals to learn and be aware of new technologies and methods being created. Roger Johansson over at 456 Berea Street wrote the article “A web professional can never stop learning,” and in it he says that those who “insist on using outdated methods can no longer be called web professionals.”
I am definitely not a web professional, (yet) but I want to become one and I agree with him 100%. Web professionals should always be making their best efforts to stay up-to-date and informed of the new technologies being produce almost daily.
